I used the Tony Horton 10min  videso which were great, but when school started in the fall I became busy.  Exercising in the dark with the clocks changing is not a safe option for me.

I get up an hour early every morning so that I can have time to exercise. It is a great way to start the day!

I want to exercise more but having three little kids makes it nearly impossible to get out to run. I guess for now my exercise will be chasing them around!

I started walking three times a week, because off medical problems that is all I can do. In September I got the H1N1 Flu followed by mono so I am still so week I can barely leave my house. I did go for a walk the other day about 1/2 mile and have been in bed for two days since. I am hoping to get back on my feet soon so I can start walking again before winter really hits, it is -9 degrees with about 10 inches of snow right now.

I am almost finished wiht my last semester and am now in my internship to teach elementary children. My work and school schedule combined does not allow for exercise. I am almost to the point where I can walk 3 times a week again. I am ssooo excited!

We were walking but rain and cooler temps have derailed that program somewhat. I got my daughter a showdown dance mat for her birthday and we have been using that a lot. We compete against each other and its fun to do. A half hour/hour passes in no time.

I started walking in August and in October it started to rain and hasn't stopped. It is very discouraging. It is hard to set 3 days a week or get on a schedule because of the weather. The malls around here are not covered. I walk when ever I can.

I don't have time for a gym and that's really not my cup of tea. Two years ago I was walking 2 miles a day and I felt so much better both physically and mentally. Then, for whatever reason I started finding excuses not to walk and pretty soon I stopped altogether. It's crazy because I know what a difference it makes!   Mary

I joined a gym, but the best thing was finding a workout partner.  It makes it a lot more fun and it is easier to go if you know someone is there waiting for you.

I did really well this summer, exersise makes everything better. I sleep better, less migranes, less stress or rather stress doesn't hurt so much. I got busy at work and stopped one day and told my self that I will start tommorow...well, you all know how that went. Why is it that exersise is like going to church? You feel real great that you went, but it is so hard to go. If I can just get there, well for me that is half the battle, well more like 3/4 the battle. Laughing

My husband died almost 2 years ago and I am now a single mom of 2 small wonderful boys.  I love to exercise the gym I go to has great child care, I get me time, and we all feel great after.  It has been a great tool in my recovery.  In the summer I would workout for 2 hours then take the boys to the pool and just sit while they played.. It made for a great day.

I have been on a quest to lose weight and be more healthy.  I have made amazing strides, but still feel I need to be more active.I even try to walk more steps in my house.  Instead of sending one of my children to get something, I run and get it myself.

I too have quit smoking about 4 months ago, and I am also doing the weight watchers, I do however have trouble finding the time to exercise with all that has to be done in a day. Can anyone tell me how to get organized

I quit smoking back in May and gained a lot of weight.  I am now kicking myself in high gear to loose it all.  I started back doing Weight Watchers and I every morning I walk 4 to 5 miles with friends.  Mondays and Wednesdays anre aerobics and Tuesdays and Fridays are Pilates.  A local big church offeres these classes free to women.  They do have a class that can have men in it.  They also have donation day care provided.  I love it there and goifn with friend and making new friends is an extra bonus.

I started a Mediteranian Diet 11 weeks ago and have lost many inches and 16 pounds.  I also walk 4 miles every day rain or shine.  Yesterday I did it twice so my daughter didn't have to walk alone after dark. Don't make excuses, just get out there and do it.  By the way I will soon be 69 years old.  Do yourself a favor.  Eat right, exercise right and breath right.  Your body will thank you. Quit buying all the enriched products and products loaded with sugars and chemicals.  I think about everything that goes into my body now and it only took a few weeks to make it a habit.

Hey...I'm 32 and can run 3 whole miles! I would of never thought I could do one mile.  In highschool I walked the mile test and brought notes from home and the doctor to get out of it.  I was out of shape and it was hard and hurt!  I decided to just do it!  I started where I was phiscaly and every day added just a tiny bit more.  Its amazing and I love it.  I feel great and am VERY proud of myself.  I will continue to add a bit more every day.  I never seemed to have time but I make time now.  I am importaint and this is how I can make myself feel great mentaly and phiscaly.  Any one can do if I can trust me, and trust yourself

Denise Austin has a cardio video called "Cardio Blast" and it's awesome. I watched what I ate and did her cardio video every day and lost six pounds in one week!
