I love to watch the Olympics and dream of going to them some day. Can't decide if I like the summer or winter better. I also love watching Hockey and baseball. My husband and I have started following my nephew's college baseball team since my husband retired. We especially like going to his preseason games down south when we still have the cold weather up north. Nothing better than traveling to Virginia and South Carolina in late February and early March from NY. We usually drive and I like to watch the thermometer reading go up as we travel. We've gotten friendly with the families of the other players and tailgate with them now so it's great fun too. My brother and sister-in-law sometimes take turns taking time off from work and one of them usually travel with us too. My nephew is an awesome player and we always take him out to dinner if the coach allows him the time away from the team. We've gotten very close to him. It's been a cool experience because he has pro scouts checking him out. He promises us seats to his pro games if he ever gets that far. He is a really great kid and I hope it all happens for him.

I really like Olympic sports, but I can pretty much get into any football game!  I happen to not have a sports minded husband, so anything I watch, I catch on my own.  One of the things I enjoy is watching my little kids do gymnastics-no team, just fo fun!

I live in Iowa and my hubby graduated from the University of Iowa so we are die-hard Hawkeye fans.  Our son lives in Minnesota and he still roots for the Iowa Hawkeyes.  So whenever there is a Hawkeye game on television we all listen to it.

I have three grandchildren on swim teams andI attend live meets. It has been exciting to watch the competition then see the children congratulate the winners. that is true sportsmanship.

Favorites are the Steelers,Colts,Broncos,and Dolphins so three out of four having a good season is pretty good. I would like some of the old rules implemented again especially in the area of interference.

My favorite sport to watch is womens softball.  It needs to be put back into the Olympics!!!  Besides that we are HUGE Oregon Duck fans and have a big tailgater at every home game (and some of the away games) of the season.
