Normally, I'll get about 4-5 hours of sleep. My 4 year- old daughter goes to bed around 9:00pm and wakes -up between the hour of 3:30am - 4:30am almost every night. Either, to used the bathroom or she saw somthing in the corner... I'm up. I'll put her back to bed, close my eyes and back up at 6:00am.

I get 4and1/2 to 5 and 1/2 hrs sleep per night. I would like to get more, however, my medications hender my sleep. I also do not stick to a sleep pattern every night. I go to bed any where from 7 P.M. (seldom) to 10:30 or 11 P.M. Up at 2:30 to 4:00 A.M. Most of it is my own lack of responsibility for not getting a sleep schedule in mind and then KEEPING IT...regardless of what may come up in my life. :-{

The chart says 49% is 56, does that ean 5.6 hrs or am I not reading something right?I get a good 9 hours a night and would get more if I did have to get up for work. Actually if I sleep longer I feel very guilty so I don't do it.I LOVE TO SLEEP.When "my time comes" I will look forward to that eternal sleep, no it is not morbid.

I only get about 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night about 90% of the time. I have a 10 month old that I am up with and his dad doesn't get home till around 12 am most times and i have to get up at 5 and be at work an hour away by 7.

I have sleep apnea so I usually go to sleep right after I put on my mask. Some nights I sleep 5 hrs straight without waking up, sometimes I wake up every 2-3 hrs on those days I am so tired I cannot hardly go. I have R.A. so I am on medicine that makes me sleepy also. My husband is not very understanding when it comes to me sleeping during the day, but sometimes it doesn't matter I do it anyway. If I get a good 8-9 hrs sleep I feel pretty good. If I take anything at night to help me sleep then the next day I am groggy so I just get what sleep I can when I can.

When I worked I was usually in bed by 10:30pm, asleep by 11 -11:30pm and up a 5:45am. Very occasionally I'd have trouble getting to sleep and then be groggy all day. I took a Benadryl and 1/2 glass wine and that helped with my allergies and sleep. Since being unemployed I've had a real problem getting to sleep. Even if I go to bed at 10pm with a book and shut the light off at 11pm, I'm up and down sometimes until 2 - 3am. I know its probably stress that will hopefully go away once I'm employed again, but it sure messes up the next day and makes me feel awful.

I get approximately5 hours of sleep during the week but I get maybe 6 or 7 on the weekend. I take care of my mom who has Alzheimer's and lives with us so by the time I get everything situated for the next day and wind down I get that many hours sleep.

I go to sleep whenever I sit down. It is a very frustrating time day or night.
By Lynn on 9/3/2009
I usually get 7 hours of sleep a night. I can do what I need at 6 hours, but not at my best. On weekends I can sleep 9-12 hours. Of course I don't have kids, but if my dogs start barking, then sleep is all over with!

I usually get to bed around 11:30-12:00 p.m., after cleansing my face & watching the news, I usually hit the sheets & go right to sleep, get awoken around 5:30-6:30 a.m.. my hubby doesn't know the quiet mode, he is very noisy, I lay there awhile, then get up around 7:00-7:30. I generally get enough sleep, with no help. I have occasional sleepless nights.

Somethings nagging at you you haven't done something or finished something, THINK what is it? Write down your problems and get rid of them small ones first working up to the big ones. Not easy but you can do it once you see what your up against. People might not like the answer but hey you can't live your whole life for them , what about you, remember your the one losing sleep!!! Good Luck

I HAVE A VERY HARD TIME SLEEPING I AM LUCKY IF I GET 2 HOURS A NIGHT. I LAY DOWN AT 7:30 PM SO I CAN GET UP AT 3:00 AM EVERY DAY DURING THE WEEK BUT I AM JUST LAYING THERE EVERY NIGHT AWAKE. I HAVE TRIED EVERY OVER THE COUNTER SLEEP AID BUT NOTHING HAS HELPED. I HAVE TRIED BENEDRYL AND THAT HELPED ME WITH AN EXTRA 30 MINUTES IF I WAS LUCKY. I DON'T HAVE A DOCTOR RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD THE INSURANCE SO I JUST RELY ON THE WEEKENDS TO SLEEP ALL DAY OR I WILL HAVE A FEW GLASSES OF WINE IF I AM FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE SOMEONE OVER THAT BRINGS DRINKS DURING THE WEEK, IN THAT CASE I SLEEP ALL NIGHT NO PROBLEM.

without Tylanol PM and my Lorazipam, I wouldnt' be getting much sleep at all. It has gotten worse since minapause also. some nights I sleep for 8 or 9 hours, some nights i only get 3 or 4. I need to have at least 8 to be in a decent mood in the morning.

I hardly ever have a problem sleeping and usually sleep through the night but I really need more sleep than I currently get. I could go to bed earlier but of course I am up on the computer and watching tv. I tend to go to bed between 11:30 and 12:30 and wake up btw 7 and 7:30 so I am tired because I really need over 8 to feel refreshed. But I know this is my fault! I guess I just like having MY time at night.
By Shanna on 7/26/2009
